Local 3111 - Local 3111 is a part of the International Fire Fighters Association representing the 60 fulltime Firefighter/Paramedics of the Anderson Township Fire Department. We are a dedicated group of individuals providing the highest level of professional Fire/Rescue and emergency medical services to the township residents and visitors 24 hours a day.  The Fire Department operates out of 4 stations.   A minimum daily staffing of 17 Fire fighter/Paramedics equips 4 Paramedic Ambulance units, 3 ALS Engines and 1 ALS Quint.  Our members respond to approximately 4000 emergency responses per year.

The members of Local 3111 are also involved with the community and charitable organizations.  We are proud sponsors of MDA and participate in yearly events to help raise money for the organization.  For the past two years our Local has sponsored a group to participate in a Relay for Life event with the American Cancer Society.  This year our team raised $2500 for cancer research.  Last year with the assistance of the local Sheriff Deputies, we raffled off a Harley Davidson Motorcycle to benefit our Firefighters Memorial and assist a charity chosen by the Sheriffs Deputies.

The members of Local 3111 have proudly served our community since 1985.  We hope to be able to serve our community in an even greater role in the years to come.
